When will DTV Shredders start shipping?

DTV Shredders are expected to begin in late 2012 or early 2013. For more updated information please join our mailing list for regular updates regarding shipping dates.

Will you be offering a warranty?

Yes. When purchased from an authorized dealer, each DTV Shredder comes with a one (1) year limited warranty.

Can I upgrade it with aftermarket parts?

Like any other power or extreme sport vehicle, we anticipate potential upgrades being available. At this time, the only model market ready is our 196 CC, 4-stroke, 13HP engine. Just like a bike or ATV, DTV Shredder parts can be upgraded, shocks replaced or changed, etc.

How do you steer the DTV Shredder?

Lean steering, similar to skateboarding or snowboarding, controls the DTV Shredder. The rider can lean left or right to control the speed of each track independently.

Will the Shredder be available internationally?

Yes. DTV Shredders are available in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Middle East. Units will be available through our ever expanding dealer network.

In the event that we do not have a dealer in your area, you may order the DTV Shredder online. Please contact us for additional information.

How long can I ride on a full tank of gas?

Present specification of the DTV Shredder offers riders a range of 30 miles per tank or 1 hour of rigorous riding. The current gas tank is 1 gallon.

Where can I find a dealer?

We are in the process of building our dealer network. If you are interested in becoming a dealer or country distributor and have experience in the field, please contact us and provide your information and qualifications.

Will it run in powder snow?

The tracks were originally designed for snow vehicles so the DTV Shredder handles deep powder very well!

Can I ride through mud, sand or water crossings?

The DTV track system enables the rider to travel on any kind of terrain. Although the DTV Shredder is not built as an amphibious vehicle, the built-in carburetor that allows you to cross water up to 10 inches.

Is the Shredder road-legal?

The Shredder is not a road vehicle. We designed it to be an offroad vehicle to explore nature or tear up tracks and trails. We have no intention of making the first version of the Shredder street legal.

What’s the load-carrying capacity?

The Shredder will be capable of carrying 300 lbs of equipment. We will be coming out with a “work-horse Shredder” in the near future for more utilitarian applications.

Is there an auto shut-off in case I fall?

Each DTV Shredder comes with an operator presence control (OPC) cable that attaches securely to the rider’s clothing or protective gear. If a rider should fall, the cable detaches from the vehicle to automatically stop the engine.

Do the tracks wear out?

We have been using the same tracks on one of our prototypes for over a year and they are still in great condition. We have tested the tracks on everything from pavement to snow and they are very durable.

What will shipping costs be?
