The DTV Shredder is a brand new type of off road vehicle. The Shredder combines the best characteristics of traditional board sports with the power of Motocross and ATVing. Our patented DUAL-CTV Transmission system convert the riders body movements into smooth carving turns that simulate the freedom snowboarders feel while racing down a mountain.
“Our goal was simple, we wanted to create a new vehicle that was compact yet powerful, rideable year round in any weather and be truly all terrain. We envisioned the Shredder becoming a new sport that would allow anybody to enjoy the outdoors regardless of where they lives or the vehicle they drive. The idea was to merge the Action and Power sport experience into a fully immersive off-road ride like never before.” Ben Gulak – Founder of BPG Werks
After years of development and working with some of the worlds top X-Game athletes, Shredding is poised to become the next Action sport. The Shredder can be ridden year round and handles sand, snow, mud, rocks and even mountains with ease.
DTV Shredder (or Dual Tracked Vehicle) redefines ‘off-road’ by transforming the outdoors into your personal playground. The all-mechanical design, powerful engine and aggressive tank tracks allows for high-speed travel on any terrain, in any season. While the ground-breaking vehicle demands the attention of adrenaline junkies worldwide, it also doubles as a rugged, multi-application workhorse for law enforcement, military, hunting, farming and other industries.
18 months ago BPG Werks was commissioned to build a Shredder that could “Go-Faster.” We had very few restraints and we found a small 48 hp rotary engine that was small enough to fit inside the existing Shredder frame. Although many modifications were made to both strengthen and stabilize the Shredder, the overall footprint is only 10% larger than our standard production model. This High performance Shredder has a top speed of +60 mph and truly is capable of flying over virtually any terrain.
We just brought one of these machines to Travis Pastrana’s house to see what was possible and by the end of the first day, the guys were backflipping the rotary Shredder with ease. Shortly after, the riders were doing variations of Can Cans and Madonnas and it became apparent that these Shredders can do almost any motocross, jet ski and skateboard tricks. This will open up a whole new type of trick category that combines both power and board sports in a freestyle riding experience.
